Early Childhood Development & Community Support

Sunshine Educare Volunteer Programme in Cape Town

The Sunshine Educare Volunteer Programme in Cape Town is a community-based early childhood development initiative located in an informal settlement near Table View. The programme provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for young children who have limited access to early education and daily care. Sunshine Educare supports children during critical developmental years by offering basic education, nutrition, and consistent care. Why it matters

South Africa faces significant early childhood development challenges, particularly in under-resourced communities. Quality care and stimulation in the first five years of a child’s life have a lasting impact on health, education, and social outcomes. Every volunteer makes that impact real.
